While mixing paints, the excess medium is rubbed onto unprimed drywall before applying the paint to the canvas. Other actions are recorded, and in time – the work surfaces are documented including walls, tables and shelves. The images are printed onto adhesive archival paper and mounted directly to the wall. The studio photographs are presented as formal compositions rather than unveiling insight into an artistic process… 

"Recently I painted in my basement void of natural light, the cement ground was covered with sand and I danced in black socks. I would drag a sledgehammer covered in rabbit skin glue and collect pigment fallen across the floor. The basement is now storage. My new workspace is a pool of natural light and I walk with arms outstretched."
