After Hours with Thomas Negovan and The Century Guild Museum of Art.

My company Century Guild is primarily a publisher of fine art books on rare artworks from 1880-1925, specifically on the subjects of Art Nouveau, Symbolist Art, and leaning into macabre mysticism. We have also collaborated on projects with a few exceptional contemporary artists including Gail Potocki, Dave McKean, Michael Hussar, Clive Barker, David Mack, and photographer Steve Diet Goedde, and worked to resurrect the archaic technology of Thomas Edison's wax cylinder recordings.

The Century Guild Museum of Art was founded in 1999 and celebrates and illuminates the connections between popular culture and art history. The museum hosted a popular pavilion of Art Nouveau and contemporary art at San Diego Comic Con International for over a decade, and has been featured in depth in periodicals as varied as American Art Collector, L.A. Weekly, and Heavy Metal magazine. Works from the Century Guild collection have been exhibited at numerous institutions including The Metropolitan Museum of Art, The Art Institute of Chicago, The Detroit Institute of Art, The H.R. Giger Museum, and LACMA.

Subscribing to our DRIP is meant to be "after hours at the museum" and will keep you connected to a steady stream of information on our upcoming and ongoing projects, including a book on cabaret from 1900-1920, the legendary Theatre du Grand-Guignol, and more! I look forward to seeing you inside!
