"Break Yr Voice is an artist book chronicling one evolution of a trans* person, particularly focused on the voice, as well as notes appropriated from a text on ventriloquism...These “ventrilo-lists” as I jokingly call them, are numbered lists pulled from run-on sentences on the subject of ventriloquism. I am interested in the ways numbered lists can create false equivalencies, set up and break expectations, and are often used for deceitful persuasive rhetoric." sair goetz
